“I loved this (aromatherapy acupressure)course. It was one of the best courses I have done on Udemy. Would recommend it to everybody!”
In aromatherapy acupressure, you create a synergistic effect by selecting an aromatherapy essential oil that possesses the same function as the acupressure points to create an incredibly powerful healing technique that balances the body, mind and spirit.
Aromatherapy acupressure is a gentle, safe and profoundly effective treatment modality that combines the energetic healing qualities of aromatherapy essential oils with specific acupressure points in order to trigger energetic changes in the individual that will bring the person back to a state of emotional balance.
Mark is a Fully Certified Aromatherapist in Aromatherapy and an essential oil specialist, approved by The National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA), and the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA) – both leading governing bodies for educational standards for Aromatherapists.
Using aromatherapy acupressure results in more significant clinical effects than using either aromatherapy or acupressure by themselves!
This course is designed so that you can use aromatherapy acupressure on yourself or on your family, partner or your clients.
For example, if you are suffering from anxiety, are worried, frustrated or stressed you will learn how to apply particular aromatherapy essential oils that are well known for their potent calming effects (such as Roman Chamomile or Lavender) to specific acupressure points such as CV-17, Yintang, or heart 7 acupressure points that have been used for thousands of years in Traditional Chinese Medicine to treat these exact emotional imbalances.
“As an Aromatherapist I am always looking for other ways and areas to apply my knowledge to help people. This course does just that. Excellent in every way.” 5 STARS
Likewise, if you are fatigued, exhausted or would just like to have more energy, be more focused and increase your memory then you will also learn how to apply aromatherapy essential oils such as Rosemary that studies have shown to not only stimulate the body and mind but also increase people’s memory by 65% and the apply that aromatherapy essential oil to acupressure points that are well known to energize the body, mind and spirit.
You can apply all of these aromatherapy acupressure skills to yourself, your family or your clients. If you are a therapist, this is a fabulous technique to add to your repertoire of treatment techniques to assist your client on a much deeper level. The aromatherapy acupressure treatments can be used as a stand alone treatment or as a beautiful way to help your clients with their emotional wellbeing.
“Aroma-acupressure had a greater effect than aromatherapy on agitation in patients with dementia.”
“..aroma-acupressure was better able to improve agitation, inhibit the sympathetic nervous system, and activate the parasympathetic nervous system compared with aromatherapy”
(Study involving 186 patients of the comparison of the efficacy of aromatherapy acupressure compared to just aromatherapy for the treatment of dementia-associated agitation)

It's time to get started..
A quick explanation for you before we start.
So, let me explain to you in a nutshell how to use this course.
You can download the Ebook right now if you want so that you have them handy. I supply them later in the course in the corresponding lectures but if you want to get them now you can. I have also supplied the acupressure points charts for you as well to download.
You can join the Facebook group if you like, it's a great resource for you.
You never want to put any essential oils on undiluted. Here I will teach you the dilution percentages. It is very simple and straight forward.
Diffusers should be used for about 30-60 minutes. More than that and your body become habitualized so the effects are minimal. Thus, it is best to turn it on for say, 45 minutes and then off for 45 minutes.
Here are some links to a couple of diffusers that I like and also the rollerball and inhaler tubes

It is very important that you are aware of essential oil contraindications. You should always cross check before you apply them to children, pregnant women and nursing mothers. You also need to be aware of oils that are phototoxic if you are going out into the sunshine.
Another important factor is to know the shelf life of your essential oils because they start to degrade and lose their potency and also, especially with citrus oils, they can irritate the skin if they have oxidized.
I will give you a brief explanation of the Traditional Chinese Medical approach to health and balancing the body and mind.
Ok, it is time to show you how you would stimulate the points and other important treatment aspects.
Even though I have a range of selected points, you can still vary them depending on which ones feel better to you.
You can use just one essential oil, you can also blend your favorite essential oils and then you can blend them by using their specific notes. Here I explain what that means and how to do it.
Here is a list of essential oils that you can always use if you do not have the specific essential oils that I recommend in the course.
As you will discover, this is a simple and powerful modality that you can use on yourself but it can also be used on your clients that you treat as well!
Please remember that if you need professional help because you are struggling emotionally and just not coping then please seek help.

Emotional Conditions
Ok..
Let me walk you through the first lecture and what the steps are so that you get a good understanding of how to treat each emotional imbalance.
Worry is the emotion of the spleen and the stomach, organs associated with the earth element. Too much pensiveness, worrying and insecurity can weaken our ability to digest.
When we are anxious, we find it hard to digest and accept a situation or life event. Lack of trust and ease towards the experiences and the foods that we take into our lives will make it impossible for us to digest them.
This can make us feel tired, lethargic, and unable to concentrate: a bit of a paradox, too much mental stimulation can actually cause mental heaviness.
Here is how you can treat worry.
Fear, in TCM is associated with the Kidney energy. Here I take you though the different reasons you may be fearful and how to help it.
Anger is the emotion of the liver and the gallbladder, organs associated with thewood element.
Emotions like rage, fury or aggravation can indicate that this energy is in excess, and when we experience these emotions consistently, our liver can get further damaged.
At this point, headaches and dizziness can be common.
An imbalanced gallbladder can be caused by long standing feelings of repressed anger, such as resentment, frustration, and irritability. Avoiding outbursts of anger will protect liver and gallbladder health.
Think of the expressions we use “he makes my blood boil” or “ hot headed”.
We will use calming points and oils, and also points that move the qi to get the liver qi moving
